Washing

  • The best way to wash your undergarment is to hand wash it in cold water. It retains the shape of you underwear longer
  • For delicate undergarments, it’s always better to use a liquid detergent
  • Avoid hard detergents and bleaches. They might damage the fabric permanently
  • When washing undergarments, it goes same as washing clothes. Never mix the whites with the coloured ones
  • The best way to wash your daily wear undergarments is to soak them in detergent mixed cold water for about 5 minutes. Rub them with hands before rinsing them in plain water
  • Avoid using brushes on undergarments. If you want to use a brush, choose one with softer bristles and rub it gently on the undergarment
  • To remove a stain from an undergarment, squeeze some lemon juice and leave it under the sun for some time and then wash it normally

  • Stack up undergarments in wooden drawers or a small shelf in the almirah. Avoid keeping them in the same shelf as clothes as they might get lost
